In response to an increasing number of resident complaints, the city of Le Sueur is looking into ways to monitor noxious odors and determine where there is an odor nuisance, according to an article in the Le Sueur News-Herald. Suspected sources of the complaints include the city's wastewater treatment plant, Hometown Bio-Energy, Le Sueur, Inc. and Cambria. City officials have been speaking with various environmental engineers and looking at different products to measure odors or odor dilution, such as an olfactometer.
