is reporting that residents are outraged by MBO, Inc., d/b/a Lacassine Oilfield Services is asking the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources Office of Conservation for a permit to expand their facility by 30 acres. Residents are concerned that the landfill has not done anything about the odors, their complaints have been ignored, and that an expansion would put the landfill near a storm drain. In fact, Victoria Waterman of KPLC noticed odors when she reported from the home of a resident.
