Anne received her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. During law school, Anne served as the Supervising Notes & Comments Editor of the Public Law Review and authored an article for the same publication. Anne was a Faculty Fellow to both Professor David Sloss and Professor Steven Thaman and also served as a Legal Research and Writing Teaching Assistant to Professor Kent T. van den Berg. Anne was a recipient of the School of Law Academic Scholarship, the Irvin and Maggie Dagen Public Interest Fellowship and the Public Law Review Fellowship. Anne worked as a summer intern for the Missouri Public Defender System and as a law clerk at The Simon Law Firm, P.C. for Amy Collignon Gunn.
Anne is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri and concentrates her practice on personal injury cases including products and premises liability, automobile negligence and medical negligence cases. She is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Illinois Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the American Civil Liberties Union.
Anne is married to Michael Brockland, and they have one son, Noah.
