The Simon Law Firm handles carefully selected individual and class employment claims.  For example, We currently represents several women who were fired by a large retailer based on their gender.  The Simon Law Firm also carefully considers and is willing to pursue class claims against any company that systematically discriminates against people based on race, gender, religion or disability.

In addition to discrimination claims, The Simon Law Firm litigates cases against employers who violate the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).  This can occur when a company refuses to pay overtime while requiring people to work “off-the-clock.”  FLSA violations can also occur when a company classifies people as exempt from overtime (by calling them managers or administrators) when in fact these employees are not exempt.  Other companies violate the FLSA by failing to pay minimum wage.  The Simon Law Firm is currently litigating a case against one of the largest title companies in the country.  We are seeking nationwide certification of a group of people that could include hundreds or thousands of people who were cheated out of money they earned.
