The Shawnee Dispatch reports efforts to control odors at the Johnson County Landfill have resulted in fewer complaints. We recently blogged city officials have been working with the landfill to reduce odors.
Despite the city and landfill working together to remedy the odor nuisance in the future, these measures do not compensate the residents for the loss of use and enjoyment of their properties when the problem was at its worse.
While I do not currently represent anyone involved with this site, I have represented more than 2,000 similarly situated people around the country in various landfill and other odor environmental litigation cases.
