The Berkeley Independent is reporting that 75 residents packed into a county water and sanitation committee meeting to protest the noxious odors they have to live with on their properties. The odors come from GenEarth, which leases property at the Oakley Road landfill. The mayor of Moncks Corner is asking for a tally of the number of complaints to law enforcement from citizens.
