Odors are still a vexing concern in the neighborhoods around the Countryside Landfill in Grayslake, Illinois, according to the Daily Herald. Barbara Klipp, a resident of the Prairie Crossing neighborhood that borders the landfill, and a member of Incinerator Free Lake County said that it is "bad enough that my daughter asked to wait in the car for the bus instead of waiting outside."

We have previously blogged about the landfill. Previously, residents voiced concerns that instead of addressing pollution problems, the landfill operators are trying to get their permit changed to allow a higher emission rate.
