A February 19, 2014 article in The Press of Atlantic City reports that a group of homeowners in Absecon, New Jersey, are not satisfied with the efforts of the Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) to abate the odors that have inundated their neighborhood. Carolyn Caldwell, chairwoman of the Clean Air Committee for the Gatherings at Bel Aire Lakes, a 55-and-older community, has stated that "[w]e can't use our patios in summer and can't open the windows. And it's day and night."
I do not currently represent anyone at this site. However, I have a national practice and represent hundreds of similarly situated people around the country in various odor nuisance and environmental litigation against landfills.
