ABC News 13 is reporting that the Curbside Recycling plant in Woodfin, New Jersey, has recently developed problems in its ability to control odors emanating from the facility. The plant recently had to take on extra materials due to the shutdown of another nearby recycling facility. That has caused a backload of work, resulting in a towering pile of recyclables that is emitting an odorous stink that is unbearable at times for nearby residents. The pile is reportedly 15-20 feet high and residents are concerned that it will be an even bigger problem soon as it will begin to block their views once the leaves fall. The recycling company plans to take on more workers to deal with the excess and so far the city is not taking any action.
