WUGATV and Waste Management World are reporting that neighbors have been complaining about odors coming from the landfill in Hall County. The landfill also composts food waste from the Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia Dome. Residents and county officials are also concerned that its zoning may be violated by adding the composting operation this year. While it got state permits for food waste and a composting operation, county zoning limits the landfill to construction and demolition debris.
