The Rochester, New York Democrat Chronicle reports about resident complaints for years about parts of their homes and yards sinking into a landfill from the 1960s, that was not properly closed. For years, there have been methane leaks and other contaminates found in the yards, but all residents, like Dave and Vicki Schroeder could do was pile more topsoil over their yard to try to shore up the damage.

Now, officials are finally paying attention to the plight of residents because developers are proposing a $250 million riverfront complex over much of the land.

While we do not represent anyone at this site, we represent hundreds of similarly situated people in the United States in various landfill and environmental litigation.
