WKBW is reporting that for several months, residents in Attica, New York had been complaining about noxious odors within their neighborhoods. Officials have traced the odors to a fire in a 40-foot high pile of glass, plastic and other materials located at Hillcrest Industries. The EPA is involved and is supervising the breaking down of the burning pile in order to extinguish the fire. An advisory has been issued to residents that the smell could get worse before it gets better.
