Residents living near the Old Plank Road Landfill in Milford, Michigan have been having to make do with bottled water for years because contamination from the landfill had been leaching from the site and onto nearby properties for many years. According to Hometownlife.com, affected residents are finally getting a water main extension to their homes, which will be paid mostly by the city of Milford, and CSX Railroad which owns the property the landfill lies on. The area was at one time a Superfund site
While I do not currently represent anyone at this site, I do represent hundreds of similarly situated people around the country in various landfill and environmental litigation.
