On June 8, residents found out in a presentation, given by city and state environment officials, that recent soil, water and air testing found various contaminates including lead and arsenic, according to Wicked Local Somerville. It’s possible the toxins could have been in the soil at least 20 years. While officials do not know the exact cause of the contamination, it is speculated that it could have come from the Kiley Barrel factory.
While I do not currently represent anyone involved with this site, I do represent hundreds of similarly situated people around the country in various landfill and other environmental litigation cases.
