Touch-Tel USA, LLC has reached a settlement in a class action lawsuit. The plaintiffs alleged that Touch-Tel sold pre-paid non-rechargeable calling cards and debit cards without fully disclosing the applicable rates, fees, and charges, in violation of California law.
Class members include anyone who purchased a pre-paid calling card or debit card in the U.S. between August 27, 2004 and April 20, 2013 where Touch-Tel USA was the service provider. Class members who submit a valid claim form are entitled to either a refund PIN or calling card that is a percentage of the total face value of all calling cards claimed. The deadline for submitting a claim form is December 7, 2013.
I do not represent any of the parties in this case. I have represented other individuals in class actions who have been unfairly charged undisclosed fees. If you believe you have been charged undisclosed fees, please contact attorney Stephanie to see if the Simon Law Firm can assist you.
