Acceptance of excess tonnage at the Bourne landfill in Bourne, Massachusetts, causing problems

The local health department had come out to test area residents who had been complaining about rotten egg odors. The tests indicated a nuisance level of hydrogen sulfide.

Wicked Local is reporting that there are no long term plans for preventing odor problems in the future. Further, the landfill had been taking in excessive tonnage. The Health Department is being left out of communication between the landfill and the Selectmen. On top of it all, the odors are still out control.

While I do not currently represent anyone in Bourne, Massachusetts, we currently represent many families in nearby Newburyport, Massachusetts in a lawsuit against the owners of the Crow Lane Landfill, for their failure to mitigate excessive odors. To find out if The Simon Law Firm can help with an environmental lawsuit, contact Todd Hageman.
